Media’s evolving role in branding and policy dialogue under spotlight at VIR talk show |
The discussion will explore how the media can serve as an effective channel between policymakers and enterprises, contribute to improved policy transparency, and support constructive dialogue on economic and regulatory issues. It will also consider journalism’s role in strengthening enterprise branding, highlighting best practices, and promoting innovation across key sectors.
The event will take place against the backdrop of the Vietnamese government’s ongoing efforts to implement four strategic Party resolutions. Resolution 57 focuses on scientific and technological breakthroughs alongside digital transformation. Resolution 59 outlines Vietnam’s path to proactive global integration. Resolution 66 addresses legal reform to meet the demands of development in the digital age. Resolution 68 affirms the private sector’s role as a driving force in national growth.
Bringing together perspectives from academia, business, and media, the talk show will assess how stronger collaboration between press institutions and enterprises can support the country’s development agenda. The session will also address how the media can reflect business feedback to policymakers and facilitate more transparent and responsive policy environments.
Given the rapid transformation of the communication landscape, driven by digital content trends, AI adoption, and cross-platform convergence, the panel will explore how journalism can adapt to new formats and audience expectations while maintaining credibility and professional standards.
An interactive Q&A segment will offer participants the opportunity to engage directly with speakers, contributing to a well-rounded and practical discussion. The event underscores the growing recognition of the media, not only as a messenger but also as a stakeholder in Vietnam’s journey towards inclusive, sustainable economic development.
