Zebra Technologies appoints new Vietnam country manager

Zebra Technologies Corporation announced the appointment of Tran Thi Bao Tran as Vietnam country manager on June 19, bringing over 20 years of technology sales and leadership experience.

Tran will lead sales strategies and teams in Vietnam, aligning with corporate goals and driving strategic growth in the region. Reporting to Christanto Suryadarma, sales vice president for Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Channel APJeC, Zebra Technologies, she will be based in Ho Chi Minh City.

“We are thrilled to have Tran as our Vietnam country manager,” said Suryadarma. “Her proven ability to deliver growth and her deep understanding of the technology sector make her ideal for expanding our business in Vietnam.”

Trans previously served as COO at Microsoft Vietnam, developing a go-to-market strategy that led to significant cloud business growth. Her leadership roles also include positions at HPE, Tech Data, NetApp, and IBM in Vietnam.

“I am excited to join Zebra Technologies to lead the Vietnam team,” said Tran. “I will focus on strengthening our relationships with local customers and partners while leveraging Zebra’s solutions, including machine vision among many others, to enhance asset visibility, build a connected frontline, and drive intelligent automation. I look forward to working with our talented team to achieve impactful results and advance our operations.”

Tran holds a bachelor’s degree from the Foreign Trade University and a master’s degree in marketing, sales and services from the ESCP Business School Paris.
